Read a snippet of Peter Facinelli’s interview from “iVillage” below:

There’s been talk about the last Twilight book, Breaking Dawn, being split into two separate films. Can you confirm the rumors?
I don’t know. I know there are rumors. I’m in support of it. It’s a very thick book and there’s a lot going on. To scale it down to one, we would miss a lot of stuff. So, if I had a say, I would love for it to be two. That said, I haven’t heard anything about it, nor has Breaking Dawn been confirmed at all. So I think we’re all just waiting to hear what someone decides to do.

So you’re not itching for it to be over?
No, I’m a big fan of the books. So for me, it’s fun to be able to revisit Carlisle and I’m quite saddened that there’s only one more book to do. It would be great if it was broken into two.

What can fans expect from the next film, Eclipse?
Every one of these has had a different director [David Slade directs The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, opening in June] so the feel’s been a little bit different. Each one of the books progressively has more action. New Moon has some really cool action with the werewolves and the Volturi and it builds from there into the third one where the Cullens get to do some really great action stuff. And that’s fun for me, because as a Cullen we’re very reserved and always trying to fit in and look humanlike. But in Eclipse, you get to see what we’re capable of as vampires.

Kellan Lutz (Emmett) confided to “The Dish Rag” at the Hollywood Foreign Press Young Hollywood party last at Nobu about the prospect of two “Breaking Dawn” movies:

Kellan Lutz5“They haven’t told the rest of us actors yet,”. “I have read that they are talking to Rob, Taylor and Kristen to negotiate to make ‘Dawn’ into two movies. I’d love for it to be two films,” he added.

How about that “Twilight” TV series rumor? “I just heard that too. I don’t know how. You already have the books and the story’s been told so beautifully. And there’s already ‘True Blood’ and ‘Vampire Diaries,’ and they’re both great. I don’t know how it would work. Twenty two episodes?

“Breaking Dawn” Casting Scam
Dec 5 2009

Categories: Breaking Dawn

Goodness, some folks have nothing better to do. Check-out the latest scam, reported by Access Hollywood:

Access Hollywood LogoFraudulent e-mails announcing casting calls for “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn,” have been flooding the inboxes of fanpires across the country, according to The Casting Scoop.

“First of all, I knew it wasn’t credible because ‘Breaking Dawn’ doesn’t go into production for several months, so no casting director would have been hired yet,” says casting director Lana Veenker, who handled Northwest casting on the first “Twilight” film. “Also, the shoot location hasn’t even been announced! How would anyone even know which city or country to be casting in?”

The e-mails implore those who are interested in walk-on parts to apply immediately with impending deadlines, promising that no experience is necessary and pay ranges from $80-250, depending on the role.

melissa rosenberg

Just because Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are such a perfect match on screen, Twilight screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg thinks it’s time we mind our own business about what goes once the cameras stop rolling.

“Their chemistry on film is so extraordinary,” Rosenberg told us at the Entertainment Weekly/Women In Film pre-Emmy party. “They were beautifully cast for those roles and their chemistry is amazing. I think people often confuse chemistry onscreen with chemistry offscreen.

“I think people should just enjoy what’s onscreen and leave their privates lives wherever they are,” she continued. “I don’t actually know what they are.”

So what scoop did Ms. Rosenberg tell us about our fave vampire movies? Read on to find out…

First up, Breaking Dawn. Rosenberg is not allowed to could not confirm she’s going to be tackling the script. “That’s still up in the air,” she said. “We’re still talking and nothing’s been decided.”

Kellan Lutz Talks New Moon, Eclipse & Breaking Dawn

Vman06Kellan Lutz opened up about the upcoming Twilight movies! He talks about his favorite scene in New Moon, one of his first memories getting recognized by fans and more!

On filming New Moon:
“I’m done with New Moon. It was really easy to work on with [Director] Chris Weitz. It all starts with the director, and he really moves the tempo with shooting. And he’s just so mellow and relaxed that it trickled down to the crew. And they were really prepared and it trickled down to the actors, who were really comfortable. And since Twilight was really accepted by the fans, it really allowed us to feel comfortable in our shoes.”

On what to look forward to in NM:
“Something to really look forward to is Jackson Rathbone’s scene when he’s playing Jasper, and Bella cuts her finger at her birthday party. He really loses himself there. He really transformed himself and got there, so it was really cool to see. And I think the fans will really like to see that and be surprised with how fierce he looked and got.”

On continuing to play Emmett:
“Emmett has quite a larger role with Eclipse and then Breaking Dawn, so I’m really excited to shoot Eclipse coming up soon and then hopefully Breaking Dawn!

On encountering fans:
“As far as the fans, I guess nothing too bizarre [has happened]. The conventions are always on lockdown, and at the publicity events, we have security. But when I’m in LA and I’m walking around — I was driving one day, leaving my neighborhood and this car pulled up right next to me and they started screaming out their window! They told me to roll the window down, and I’m like ‘What the heck is going on?’ And I roll my window down and it’s “Emmett!” Just screaming! And I’m like, ‘Oh, that’s why!’ I forgot and this was right after we were done shooting [Twilight], so I really didn’t know the hype for the movie. Or that fans had so much love for it! So when that happened, I was just realy taken back.”

robert-pattinson-oscars-2229-2Rob Pattinson has made an announcement in Cannes that will thrill ‘Twilight’ fans!

Pattinson, aka the dashing vampire Edward Cullen in the ‘Twilight’ series, announced at the Cannes Film Fest that Summit Entertainment will bring the fourth book in the mega-popular supernatural series to the screen. Pattinson says that there is no word on when ‘Breaking Dawn’ will be filmed, since Summit has to work around the popular actor’s busy filming schedule. The first film, ‘Twilight,’ debuted last fall, while filming is currently close to wrapping up on the second movie, ‘New Moon.’

Pattinson plans to star in another Summit film, ‘Remember Me,’ this summer, before heading back to Vancouver in the fall to shoot the third ‘Twilight’ installment, ‘Eclipse.’

"Breaking Dawn" Movie May Not Be Made
Apr 21 2009

Categories: Breaking Dawn

breaking_dawnOver the past two days, rumors have flown about whether a film version “Breaking Dawn,” the final book in the human-loves-vampire series, is already in some stage of pre-production.

“The most I’ve heard from Summit is ‘re-read it and start thinking about it,’” “Twilight” screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg told EW.com’s Hollywood Insider.

Now sources say author Stephenie Meyer is wrestling with how the book can possibly be adapted for the target tween audience, considering its more mature subject matter.

(Spoilers ahead for “Breaking Dawn.”)

In the final book, Edward and Bella’s half-vampire baby threatens her life in utero, prompting debates about the sanctity of life and the possibility of abortion. On top of that, Jacob and his Wolf Pack see the unborn child as a danger to the world in general and plan to kill Bella in order to destroy the baby. Also complicating matters is that the vampire high council also want Bella and the child dead rather than having either accidentally reveal the existence of vampires.

Fans of the series can ride out the storm with “New Moon” this November and “Eclipse,” the third movie in the series, sometime next year.
